Ethnic Population Pyramids of  Canada: Highlights From The 2016 Census

Using a special table drawn from the 2016 Canadian census, the purpose of the powerpoint presentation is to provide the reader with 27 population age-sex pyramids calculated for selected ethnic groups in Canada. Pyramids contain a visual representation of population structures characterizing ethnic group members such as their ages, genders, generational cohorts and immigrant status-related characteristics.

In the first presentation, the featured groups are: British, Canadian,French, Aboriginal, German, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Ukrainian, Russian, Swedish, American, Jewish, Chinese, East Indian, Filipino, Vietnamese,Iranian, Haitian, Jamaican, Iranian, Portuguese, Spanish, Latin American, Somalian, Afghan and Syrian.

In the second presentation, the featured groups are: Argentinian, Brazilians, Chilean, Colombian, Cuban, Dominican, Ecuadorian, Guatemalan, Honduran, Mexican, Nicaraguan, Peruvian, Salvadoran and Venezuelan
